A friend recently asked me how she can do better with her everyday life as she has been procrastinating too much of late and barely get things done. For someone like me who is still battling with procrastination, I have done some researches and I found a way to do things accordingly and I promise you, it has been working out well for me.
I gave her some tips on my new strategies and so far so good, she has commended it's effectiveness ever since she started, so I decided to put it up here as well, it may help someone else too.

Prioritizing involves deciding which tasks or goals should take precedence over others, and allocating your time and resources accordingly.

Here are some tips for setting priorities:

1. Identify your goals: Before you can set priorities, you need to know what you want to achieve. Write down your short-term and long-term goals, and make sure they are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.

2. Evaluate the urgency and importance of tasks: Once you have identified your goals, you need to evaluate the tasks that will help you achieve them. Determine which tasks are urgent and which ones are important. Urgent tasks are those that require immediate attention, while important tasks are those that contribute to your long-term goals.

3. Focus on the most important tasks: Once you have identified the most important tasks, focus your energy and resources on completing them first. This will help you make progress towards your goals and avoid getting bogged down by less important tasks.

5. Be flexible: Priorities can change over time, so be prepared to adjust your priorities as needed. Stay open to new opportunities and be willing to reevaluate your goals and tasks regularly.

Finally, one major way to stop procrastination is doing that thing immediately you think about it, unless you're in a place that isn't convenient. You may not feel the urge, but just go ahead anyway. Always write down things to be done. Good luck guys😊
