I had a long talk with an old friend who is a university lecturer.

Sometimes when you listen to those who wear the shoes it may affect your judgement and previous condemnations.

He complains of inability to engage in research and development for the past three years, he complains he barely has time to grade students exams or coach his PhD students, he fails in his commission as a lecturer not because he does not have the passion to teach but because his salary is so small that he is forced to always cut corners.

He is practically forced to sell handouts to be able to pay his rent.

At the end of the day, do we blame lecturers and Asuu for subverting the system or blame students for knowing too little because they are hardly taught or blame the government for failure to fund the educational system?

Who do we really blame?
